President speaks to leaders of justice institutions for preventing spread of pandemic in prisons

At this meeting were Chief Director of the Correcting Service, Nehat Thaci, Supreme Court Chairman Enver Peci, Court of Appeals Chairman Hasan Shala, head of the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Aferdita Bytyci, State Prosecutor Alexander Lumezi and Chief Prosecutor of the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, Kujtim Munishi.
President Thaci said that while it is good news that there are still no cases of coronary infection in corrective institutions, however, every step must be taken to prevent this.
The health of citizens is in question, and it is important that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo take care of each citizen and find solutions for every citizen, in accordance with the laws at power”, President Thaci said.
The steps to be taken by relevant institutions were discussed at the meeting, and it was stressed that in search of a solution as soon as the Kosovo Parliament and public health mechanisms are included.
