The uncontrolled exit of citizens and the non-receptive of measures imposed by health authorities in Kosovo has resulted in an increase in the number of people infected with the Devi-19 disease, health officials in Kosovo estimate.
With 79 new cases, Kosovo has registered record cases Sunday with the new choreography since the first cases emerged in the country.
With these figures, the total number of infected people in Kosovo totals 362.
In terms of increasing the number of cases, Health Ministry officials said “secila Pandemi has its start, development and decline. Kosovo is in its development phase and it is expected at this stage to have the largest number of positive cases”.
In spite of that, they seek increased responsibility from citizens, as reported in a response to Radio Free Europe, “is regret that someone has not yet understood the seriousness of the Devi-19 disease and the risk that it sets for life itself and others”.
The rise in the number of cases of those infected a day ago according to infecter Valbon Krasniqi is due to the performance or nature of pandemic, but also from disrespect of measures by the country's citizens.
Krasniqi in a conversation for Radio Free Europe said Kosovo is already in the phase when it expects the largest number of cases.
“Even we like Kosovo have entered the fifth week of the epidemic, today exactly one month since the first cases have been confirmed on March 13th. We are already in the period when we expect greater numbers of cases and normally contribute to the behavior of citizens, that is, the insufficient disrespect of measures and recommendations given over and over again by health institutions, but on our part as doctors”.
Humoll: If there is no physical distance there will be increased cases
Any increase in the number of cases infected with the new coronary is due to the non-imitation and disrespect of measures imposed by the Government of Kosovo for physical distance, says Isme Hummolli, who is Official for Emergency at the World Health Organisation in Kosovo.
In a proposal for Radio Free Europe said that if it continues with such conduct of citizens, the number will be higher the following days.
It depends on our behavior, if we stay at home, we isolate ourselves until the situation calms down the number of cases remains low and ends faster. We have expected that, with respect for quarantine or vetizolation, the number of cases will drop by the end of April. But how it's going with citizens' behavior, it's a little problem to predict the end”.
3,256 tests
Infectian Valbon Krasniqi, calling for caution and vigilance, shows that currently in the Infectious Clinic there are 53 patients confirmed with Cardi-19, 43 of them are in good health, six are in oxygen therapy, and three are in a more critical state of treatment in the Intensive Department at the Infectious Clinic.
By researching contact cases of infected persons, Krasniqi said the National Public Health Institute is monitoring or monitoring over 40,000 people.
On March 13th, when the first cases of coronavirus infected in Kosovo were presented as well, a total of 3,256 samples, of which 362 have proved positive, eight people have died, who had other accompanying diseases, and 59 patients have recovered. REL
