Test gloves for COVID 19: Kosovo thanks Turkey for aid

To receive these aid this afternoon at the airport, incumbent Health Minister Arben Viti, Infrastructure Minister Lumir Abdignjikaj and President Hashim Thaci adviser Ardian Arifaj had appeared.
Minister Vitita said this donation shows solidarity and friendship under the battle with COVID-19. In addition, he stressed that medical institutions will find it easier to fight this pandemic.

Good friends are seen in difficult days, and at the time when all our friends, just as in Kosovo we are facing this problem is still, not only with solidarity, but also a divine humanism that is happening” said Vitita.
In the first four weeks, Arben Vitita confirmed that they have faced lack of health materials, but thanks to aid and measures taken by the incumbent government, the situation is already under control.
The year appealed to citizens to stay home for the next two weeks, after which it expects a decline in infected cases.
Turkey's ambassador to Kosovo, Chagri Sarkar, said these aid have been launched at the request of Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdoan, where, according to him, masks, gloves and tests for verifying persons with COVID-19.
We are very happy that we have had the opportunity to respond positively to Kosovo. We are pleased to see that our support and assistance in a concrete way are now being realised for Kosovo. These difficult days that we are experiencing today reminded us of how important it is in difficult times to stay close to our friends. Today, not only Kosovo, but our aid has also been sent to countries in the region. Today, in the midst of these aides being delivered by Turkey, we have brought bail, masks and some tests that enable the verification of this” disease, Ambassador Sarkar said.
Thankful to this donation was Deputy Infrastructure Minister Lurim Abdixhiku, who announced that they would organise a flight for remaining citizens in Turkey.
“We will plan within the next 10 days a flight from Istanbul to Pristina to return our remaining citizens there and for the entire period of this same period have accepted aid from the Republic of Turkey”, Abdixhiku said.
President Ardian Arifaj's adviser said the promise given through a telephone conversation several days ago by Turkey's president, Recep Tayip Erdogan, is being fulfilled today.
Such assistance, he says, will serve doctors at this time of pandemic, and at the same time testify to the friendship between the two countries.
