The chief of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Arben Gashi, has said that the Vetevendosje Movement has no legal basis for sending it to the Constitutional Court, President Hashim Thaci's letter, the Online Economy reports. “As to the possibility of complaining a possible decision in the Constitutional Court or President's letter, I think [...]
“As regards the possibility of complaining to a possible decision in the Constitutional Court or President's letter, I think we have different views. The president's letter is a recognition letter and there is no legal basis for being sent to the Constitutional Court. It is fair of anyone who considers you to have been denied a right or who has unconstitutional action by the Assembly to address the Constitutional Court. In this case LVV can be addressed by the Constitutional Court. We do not judge, we give our beliefs”, Gashi said.
The Vetevendosje movement has warned it will send the president's letter to the Constitution.
Acting Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has asked the country's president and LDK chief to publish the letter sent to the Democratic League mandate.
Haxhiu has written on Facebook that the president's office last week has confirmed that the president has demanded from the LDK, the name for mandate. She says, however, this letter has not yet been published in the media.
The president's office last week has confirmed a meeting held between President Hashim Thaci and LDK leader Isa Mustafa.
It has become known that the president has delivered a letter to Mustafa asking the proposal of the potential mandate for the formation of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, which must ensure it creates stable and inclusive Governments.
