EU donates 20,000 tests to Albania for Coronavirus

European Union Ambassador to Albania Luigi Soreca has suggested that union countries will assist Albania with 20,000 tests for COVID-19. Through a post on the social network “Twitter”, Sorica says the European Union has stood and will stand by Albania. “
“The EU Foundation for Control Materials for COVID-19 is along the way. 20,000 tests will be made available to the Public Health Equipment Institute in Tirana. The more reliable the tests are, the more effective the war is! The EU stands near Albania”, Soreca writes.
The European Union has awarded Albania a total of 50m euros to cope with the global pandemic of COVIDD-19. Of this amount, 4m euros are projected to go for medical equipment.
Our country has known a notable improvement in the number of coronavirus infected, while what is noted also by figures published by the Health Ministry has to do with reducing the patients active by COVID-19.
