Ahmeti talks about the situation in Lipjan after nine people last night resulted in COVID - 19 there

Nine people from Lipjan tested positive for Monday night. All of these are cases of contact with a person who was out of town two nights ago.

Lipjan Mayor Imri Ahmeti has said that there are 11 political people with COVID-19 from the same neighborhood so far.

“are cases of first contact that appeared two positive nights ago. They are mostly family and close relatives. 11 people are positive in the same neighborhood”, Ahmeti has said.

Ahmeti stressed that out of 13 separate cases of the Lipjan municipality, 1 has recovered and another is standing at the Students' Centre in Pristina, after coming from abroad.

A case we've had in Janjevo has recovered, in two tests has proved negative. Another case is staying isolated in the dorm after coming from Montenegro. Right now in Lipjan we have 11 active cases”, Ahmeti said.

Ahmeti, meanwhile, stressed that the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo has traced contacts to persons who allegedly had contacts with those who resulted positive Monday evening.

Meanwhile, the total number of people confirmed with COVID-19 in Kosovo has gone to 598.

Of them, 123 have recovered, meanwhile 16 have lost their lives on the entire territory of Kosovo.

In order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 disease, which causes Coronavirus, new citizens' circulation measures have entered into force in Kosovo on Wednesday.

Based on measures imposed by the Ministry of Health in office, citizens can leave their homes for only 90 minutes a day, with the aim of supply.
