38 Coronavirus cases in Kamenica, 5 healed, and no dead

The director of Health in Kamenica, Suna Zajmi, tells Kosovo that the main family centres are equipped with health materials. Meanwhile, it emphasises that the supply is at the level in co-operation even with the institutions of Gjilan and Pristina.

We stand at sufficient level. No moment of personnel left without equipment to be in a difficult position to manage the situation. The supply is at the level we are in very good co-ordination and co-operation with the institutions of Gjilan and Pristina. In the same way from the Ministry we have equipment, but we have other donations that are providing us with equipment and other necessities”, he says.

It claims that all medical staff are equipped with protective materials, and that they have done tests on medical staff as well.

“12 staff members have so far been tested, and all have resulted negative. This is very good news for us. So far we have no staff risk. Work is being well managed”, she adds.

According to her, the alleged cases from now on are sent to Pristina, until days ago they were referred to in Gjilan.

The moment we have suspicious cases, until now they've been sent to Gjilan. This Gjilan then assessed whether the situation should go to Pristina or not. From now on, we are managing it together with Gjilan, but also sending it to Pristina. Thank God these days we haven't had complaints, even the state of positive patients have no worries, if 24 hours of ambulances are in a state of alert”, she declares.

The director of Health in the Kamenica municipality says there has been a decline in the flow of patients for routine control, compared to pre-edemia time.

If there is a bigger problem, they still head to the QKMF, but we have a discount and a very low number of patients in this period”, she says.

So far 38 Corleone cases have been confirmed in Kamenica, five have been healed, and none of the infected have ended in death.
