Former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden has sworn his position as leader of the Democrat race, for nominating US presidential candidate.
Presidential elections in the United States will be held in November this year.
Joe Biden, won in Michigan State, expanding his supremacy over top rival Senator Bernie Saunders.
Five states voted on Tuesday Washington, Missouri, Mississippi, Idaho and North Dakota.
Beden also won Missouri, Mississippi, and Idaho.
It is still unclear whether Senator Sanders will continue the race until the party convention in July.
After announcing his latest victories, Biden told his main opponent that they could work together to defeat the republican candidate in the November presidential election, current President Donald Trump.
Biden said that Sanders and he share a “common goal”.

To ensure the nomination of the Democrats, a candidate needs the support of 1,991 delegates at the party congress.
Before Tuesday's vote, Biden had 648 delegates who could support him while Senator Sanders 563.
