Although no case has been recorded in Kosovo so far with COVID 19, the state has taken measures to prepare for any possible scenario.
Italian Ambassador Nicola Orlando said the government has taken appropriate measures to prevent the intermediateness, as it also spoke of the importance of reducing advice on the part of citizens.
Orlando also had encouraging words for doctors who are on the front line and are struggling with the disease by naming them heroes.
The Italian diplomat congratulated that the situation in Kosovo remains the same and that no case of virus corona be registered, while he said he had not travelled to his homeland since January 6th.
These are the real heroes who are here to confront the situation. Although there are no cases of coronary in Kosovo so far, we hope that the situation remains such... the risk is too great because of this infectious disease. We have to be very careful. I send my compliments to the Kosovo government that has taken the necessary measures to prevent spread... as we know in difficult situations must make difficult decisions. But it is very important that they make these decisions and respect these and all the advice to help prevent the spread of the” virus, he said.
IKSEP Director Naser Ramadani expressed gratitude for this donation. Among the vehicles, they defended that there are masks, cloaks, and gloves that were said to have come before the outbreak of the epidemic in Italy.
Speaking of suspicious cases of coronaryism, he said that of all the samples he's received so far, it hasn't resulted in any case.. Ramadani stressed that for any suspicious case, their results appear in approximately four hours.

And the director of the Microbiology department, Xhevat Jakupi, said that any assistance with protective equipment is needed.

“As you know we daily test dozens of samples from suspicious cases. It's very possible that in the next few days, or weeks we have cases. Protection devices are very necessary for daily work”, he said
