Following the situation created in the country by the spread of the coronary, Kosovo's Islamic Community has issued a decision concerning the bodies of the infected persons with COVID-19. Through a post on the official page, BICU has announced that with the death of the person as a result of coronary infection, if the corpse is prepared at the CKUKUA morgue, the opening of the coffin is prohibited.
In the case of the person's death as a consequence of coronary infection (confirmed by the IKSHPK)), if the corpse is prepared, cleaned up and closed in the CKUKUA morgue, then the opening of the coffin is prohibited and the Garden will be buried without being cleansed by religious authority, and the Montenegrin Namaz will be forgiven after burial, respecting the proper social distance in the report Imam-Jama”, the decision is said.
According to this decision, with the death of the person suspected of being infected with coronary, the dead will be poured out only water from above, without touching his body.
In the case of the death of the person we suspect or fear that he may have been infected with coronary, the Garden will be cleansed so that the dead will be poured out only water on top, without touching his body”, the decision is further said.
In other cases, BIKU urges imams and citizens to respect the guidelines of the National Institute of Public Health.
