Haxhiu: After we get through the situation with COVID 19, elections are inevitable.

Acting Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu says the extraordinary elections after the situation with COVID 19, are inevitable.

She writes:

The extraordinary elections in the Republic of Kosovo are inevitable, and immediately after overcoming the situation by COVID-19 virus

The Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo and the judicial practice of the Constitutional Court clearly stipulates that the will of Kosovo's citizens cannot be changed with the establishment of conjuctures in the president's office. Therefore, after the motion of no confidence in the Government, 95 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo cannot be activated in the fact that it distinguishes the constitutional judicial situation between the government's election and constitutional judicial situation following the motion vote on the Government.
