Government Decision for two period traffic bans

The Kosovo government has approved tonight at its virtual collection the point through which the movement of citizens is restricted. According to this point from tomorrow, circulation is prohibited from 10:00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m. and from 8:00 to 6: 00 p.m.

He has confirmed this for Klan Kosova, Deputy Prime Minister Hakki Abazi by telephone.

Measures taken:

The government of the Republic of Kosovo approves the Health Ministry's request for measures to prevent and control the spread of the COVIDD-19 virus as follows:

I. There is a ban on the circulation of citizens and private vehicles from March 24th 2020 at 10:00 p.m. and 800 p.m., except for medical needs, production, supply and sale of essential goods (food and medicine for people and animals/spesa), and for services and activities that are interconnected by pandemic management (government and local and municipal personnel from these sectors: health, health, and state administration);

2 / 1 Free circulation is possible for economic operators classified as more important under the NAC codes that the Ministry of Economy, Labour, Trade, Industry, Strategic Investments, and Trade allows to operate in this emergency period related to the COVID -19 pandemic, as well as free transport of goods/services to ensure the operation of the supply chain;

3 / 1 Movements on the streets become no more than two people together and always keeping two meters apart;

6 / 1 No gatherings are prohibited in all private and public environments, open and closed except when it is necessary to carry out the work of prevention and fighting of pandemic, as well as where distance is allowed two meters. In case of deaths, only close members of the family of the deceased and the persons who perform burial service may attend the burial;

V. The Government Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are committed to taking the necessary actions to implement this decision.
