Across the country, 522 local and bared, 29 gyms, 65 billards, 21 discos and pubs and 18 live music clubs were closed during yesterday's evening.
This has come after Prime Minister Edi Rama's order to gather the government for measures against the spread of corruption.
Following this order, from yesterday evening, over 215 General Police patrols were committed to implementing these measures. In implementing measures to prevent massive gatherings in open or closed areas, with the aim of preventing the spread of the coronavirus, State Police Director General General has sent a telegram to all local Police Directors in the Circles for the immediate closure of the nightclubs, pubs, discos, gyms, and locals where there are mass gatherings.
Police announcement:
In the application of measures to prevent short notice of massive gatherings in open or closed environments, with the aim of preventing the spread of coronavirus, State Police Director General General has sent a telegram to all local Police Directors in the Circles for the immediate closure of nightclubs, pubs, discos, gyms, and locals where there are mass gatherings.
Following this telegram from yesterday evening, over 215 General Police patrols were committed to implementing these measures.

State Police facilities will co-operate with the State Health Inspectorate, the Public Health Institute, Local Governance Units, Circle Prefects and other state institutions entrusted to the law.
State police are asking well-to-do local owners to enforce without hesitation orders submitted by police officers and not to reject them, as their failure to comply with legal penalties.
