Close to 200 people from 7am this morning until 1: 00 p.m. have entered Kosovo, from the border point in Merdara, where most of these people coming to Kosovo are from Germany, Austria, Croatia and Serbia.
All those who enter this border point have been subjected to medical control for Coronavirus, and during today a person who had come to Kosovo from Germany via this border point has been sent to the Infectious Clinic as suspected of this virus.
Dr. Shqipe Ramadani said that at this border point all travelers who have entered Kosovo have been checked.
She's given details about the person who's suspected of being infected with coronarys, until she points out the same one had a fever.
Each individual who entered, especially those who were from the countries who had data that he was infected with coronary, and from now on, when the pandemic was declared by the OBS, we owe every one with the control... the procedure is that we control the temperature that is due to the major symptoms that we rely on. But if he's got a high fever, then we have to get the other data, based on whether he had contact with someone who was infected earlier, if then we're forced to isolate that person, put him in quarantine. A while ago we had a case that we sent to clinics with a little high fever, now we are confirmed the data from the Infectious Institute or Clinic will be infected”, she said.
Ramadani said that as medical staffs are not equipped enough with defensive material from the Coronavirus.
“To say the right by counting on what is divided the budget from the Kosovo government, we are not satisfied. I personally don't have enough for myself, but not enough, because medical equipment needs to be changed from time to time because we have many travelers and we're forced to keep them longer. We're not getting enough, I told them that they should be careful to provide us better and more”, she said.
