According to local health authorities, it is suggested that during the weekend, an 85-year-old man passed away due to health complications from the AH1 seasonal flu.
He also suffered from another illness.
Meanwhile, the first flu victim was a 13-year-old girl who passed away last week at the Child Clinic. Currently, the Infectious Clinic has laid down about 40 patients with the flu, while the Public Health Institute last week recorded high numbers of flu cases.
On Thursday, representatives of the Commission for infectious diseases will consider the possibility of provisional closure of schools, in case the number of flu cases exceeded the normal threshold of the flu season. /ora/
