Thaci accepts congratulations from Croatia's president, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia

In her letter to President Thaci, Croatia's president, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, has written that she strongly believes that traditionally friendly relations, productive co-operation between Croatia and Kosovo will be further developed and strengthened in different areas of common interest, especially in the economy, where there are potential in many sectors.

The Republic of Croatia, as your friend, strongly supports the future of the Republic of Kosovo in the European Union and the North-Atlantic Alliance and is willing to continue to support and transfer knowledge and its experience achieved in the Euro-Atlantic integration process”, says the letter of President Grabar-Kitarovic.

Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev, expressing congratulations on the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo in his letter to President Thaci, has also written that, among other things, more than ten years systematically, we have built our relations in the spirit of friendship and partnership, which is a solid and potential basis for future development and deepening co-operation between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Kosovo.

I believe we share the common view that European and Euro-Atlantic values are the basis for stability in the region and that in the future we will continue to work together more deeply on their application and affirmation. I take advantage of the case once again to underline the support of the Republic of Bulgaria for the European perspective of the Republic of Kosovo”, President Radev writes in his letter.

During the day, President Thaci has also accepted a telegram of congratulations from Northern Macedonia President Stevo Pendarovski.

Moreover, I want to take advantage of this opportunity and express my satisfaction with the level that our two states have achieved in developing relations and co-operation between them, being convinced that they will continue to intensify in all areas of common interest over the months and the years following”, President Pendarovks writes in his letter.
