During the day, she has said she has not removed President Hashim Thaci's photo from her cabinet, but has only shifted it.
I didn't get it off, but I just moved it to a place that was deserved for the current president. I know the legislation well and there are no constitutional violations because there is no determining where the photograph is at, you will come and see for yourself”, Osman said during a visit to KKUK.
However, under the regulation of the Government of Kosovo No. 19/2011, which is derived from the State Protocol Law, makes clear exactly where the photograph of the president of state should be located.
Article 4, points 3 says that the photograph in the office should be placed on the wall rather than visible or frontal.
“1. The picture must be 40-60cm minimum size. 2. The picture must be set in frame. 3. Office photo should be placed on the wall instead of visible/ball. 4. The picture should be placed at a distance of approximately 2m from the floor”, says Article 4 of this regulation.
During the day there have been many reactions from the PDK, but political analysts, who have criticised the move by Parliament Speaker Vjosa Osmani.
