Organising began with a minute of silence, in honour of all those who have given their lives for Kosovo freedom.
Meanwhile, Kurt has been married since 2014 to Rita Augestad Knudsen, whose ceremonies were held in Pristina's municipality hall.
They're already parents of a girl.
Rita comes from Norway and is the managing director of the consortium for the Research on Terrorism and International Crime.
