Minister Bajrami said they have agreed with the mayor of Kaneica to temporarily suspend the reform launched in this municipality so that normality can be restored to schools.
We've met the parents' chair and council in the first few days, and you know that the situation is not at all pleasant, but we've consulted legal officials. You know, the last few days we've had meetings with the mayor to get a deal and get students back to school. We have an obligation to create conditions for students. A form of reform we agreed to slow down and bring back to normal Kamenica”, she said.
Kamenica's chairman, Central Kastrati, said some schools have agreed to suspend reform.
“We have arrived together where we have seen several Kamenica schools suspend the reform. We have a poor situation among students and teachers, and this has caused us to take this reform initiative. The suspension has to do with the villages of Topanica and Cortin”, Kastrati said.
