GLSP presents five points government should have in dialogue with Serbia

The group for Jury and Political Studies has presented the five points the new Government of the Republic of Kosovo should take into account about Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, stressing that the opposition's involvement in this process is necessary. Kryeziu's progress by the Committee for Jury and Political Studies at a news conference said it is responsible [...]
Kryeziu's progress by the Group for Juridical and Political Studies at a media conference said it is the constitutional responsibility of the new government and the prime minister to produce political compatibility among parliamentary groups.
According to him, dialogue is state responsibility other than international demand, so even the full normalisation of these relations through unreserved judicial recognition and the establishment of full diplomatic relations is and should be the final goal of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo for completing its citizenship.
Kryeziu said that as the second point listed by the GLSP, it is that broad political compatibility on dialogue issues, which is the irresistable criterion.
“The broad political compatibility on dialogue issues is the irreparable criterion, despite the power the Government of Kosovo has in the Kosovo Parliament, it must insist on interparty co-operation by offering the necessary infrastructure for the contents of the parliamentary opposition in the dialogue process... ...Therefore, the government should consider the need to create a comprehensive working group in which all senior representatives of parliamentary parties are invited and actively participate in this group, and especially should be given a particular attention to the participation and involvement of opposition parliamentary groups. This group must be non-real by character”, Kryeziu said.
The GLSP's third point is that the agreement should be in line with Kosovo's citizenship rather than violate its citizenship.
The territory of the Republic of Kosovo and the monotencing of institutions on any basis should never be subject or subject to discussion in the dialogue. These two issues should make up the basis of red lines in dialogue”, Kryeziu said.
Kryeziu added that the new government should be guided by three key principles, such as the principle of sequenceism, the principle of reciprocity in dialogue and trust.
While as the fourth point of this dialogue is that Kosovo's position on the international level has been at the lowest level since independence, and that this situation has produced the phenomenon of attracting recognitions, and with what the past government has faced with unsuccessful and inadequacy.
An urgent issue which, according to Kryeziu, the new government must address is Kosovo's position on the international level, which has been at the lowest level since independence and that this situation has produced the phenomenon of attracting recognitions. He adds that such a situation even increases Serbia's role.
“Dialogue is no longer being treated as the regional responsibility of the European Union, but as a need for international engagement since the April 2019 Berlin Summit, the format of dialogue has been subjected to a resuscitation of the format... so dialogue has already exceeded the format we have known. The new government should bear in mind that including the largest number of actsoners in the dialogue process could be a burden for Kosovo”, Kryeziu said.
During this media conference, Kryeziu added that although a broad international involvement gives additional impetus to this dialogue, it would result in increased pressure on Kosovo in the number and nature of compromises needed for an agreement. /F. Gashi/
