For Djuric, it was offensive that his state was called an occupant by Pristina representatives, Klan Kosova reports.
“On a panel at the Munich Security Conference, President Aleksandar Vuciq silenced Pristina representatives in a diplomatic but clear way who tried to offend Serbia in a very reckless and shameful manner”.
“In this shameful manner they spoke of Serbia as an occupational, as a state that enslaves and expels people, those who thought this is the way they talk with Serbia, received the response from Vuciq”.
However, Djuric did not reveal what that response was to “silenced Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti”.
Djuric also said that in Munich “some people think Serbia and the countries of the Western Balkans can and should teach democracy”.
Djuric indicated that Vuciqi said there that “was fighting for co-operation and rational relations between states and people in the region, stressing the struggle to base those relations on economic and political co-operation rather than on conflicts”.
Kurti also in a statement to Radio Free Europe has said there have been tensions between him and Vuciqi at the roundtable.
He felt a lot of pressure because of what I said. Then followed his nervous response”.
Kurti also said he does not consider meeting with Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, joint participation in a table in Munich.
I haven't met with Vuchchi. We have been at a roundtable where all leaders of the Western Balkans have been invited, said Kurti, following a discussion on possibilities for the Western Balkans.
