Harry Kazianis, an expert on North Korea at the National Interest Research Center in Washington, discovered that in addition to Kim's family, and some senior North Korean government officials have taken the Chinese vaccine.
He added that the identity of the company that provided the vaccine in the Kim family was not clear.
“In the last two or three weeks, Kim Jong Un and a number of other senior officials within the Kim family and the network of rulers have been vaccinated against the Coronavirus thanks to a vaccine being developed by the Chinese government”-Stroki Kazianis in a 19Forty Five article.
He added that at least three Chinese companies are working to develop a COVID-19 vaccine, including Sinovac Biotech Ltd, Can SinnoBio and Sinophram Group.
North Korea has not confirmed any case with Covid-19, but South Korean intelligence said an explosion could not be excluded due to trade and human exchange between it and China before closing borders in late January.
