Of the 45 American presidents, each of them had made sure to prepare this welcoming letter in detail for what would come to the top of this position and be placed in the White House.
Yesterday it became known that Democrat candidate Joe Biden had won the presidential election, thus becoming the 46th president in a row. His rival Donald Trump has not yet congratulated him on choosing the post.
And until this silence by the former U.S. President became a viral letter on social networks. Bush had written to the incoming president, Bill Clinton in 2002.
The letter stated:
Dear Bill. When I came to this office, I felt the same respect I felt four years ago. I know you'll feel the same way.
I wish you happiness here. I've never felt lonely, as some of the presidents have said.
There will be difficult times that will be even harder than the criticisms that will often seem unfair. I am not good at giving counsel; but do not let criticism discourage you. You will be our president when you read this scripture. I wish you all the best. I wish your family all the best.
