Finance Minister Hykmete Bajrami, before entering the session, said she believes today they have 61 votes in favour and will pass this bill, under which it is very important for the country.
“Seconca has been called based on 61 signatures, which the LDK GP chief Arben Gashi has collected. I'm believing and I hope all MPs signatory to call this session today will be present. For several minutes the hearing begins, 61 MPs signed, hoping and believing. Now with guarantees we can't talk because someone may have happened, but we believe they will be 61 deputies to vote on the” law, Bajrami said.
If it does not pass today, Minister Bajrami said the government would continue with the implementation of the governing programme and measures, which are not subject to the Economic Recovery Law.
While the VVP continues to have the same attitude to reject the package of economic recovery.
The chairman of the Commission for Board and Finance from VV, Iron Murati, told Kosovo that the subject it represents will not vote today either.
We as a group have already expressed our attitudes and arguments and there is no difference. So, even today is the 7th time of showing no seriousness to this government... This bill in one form is the government's vote of confidence, if a government does not have at least 61 votes as required under the constitution, it should not exist. So the opposition cannot keep the government standing. Now a month later, we'll have the Budget Bill, so if they don't have 61 votes, how do they think they're going to pass that bill”, Murati said.
However, MP Murati said that after this session there is the next session, the draft law on the removal of the counterpart, which expects the same one to be approved.
Today for the seventh time, the Economic Reapition Bill is expected to be put to a vote at the extraordinary session. The hearing is expected to begin 3 minutes late due to lack of quorum.
