Ramush Haradinaj resigns AAK chairmanship

The move is said to have been taken due to the announcement of domestic party elections and that until the new AAK Assembly, it will only be the chairman's task counsel.

Haradinaj says they have set new AAK organisation criteria, including organising five separate branches in Pristina. He also says that in these elections the principle will apply, a delegate one vote, with what the chapter of new elections opens on all AAK levels.

He has said these elections are very challenging, as there are 100 counterCandids.

“We have opened the vote to total, in this case if Ramush Haradinaj runs, he does not have a counterCandidate, but has 100 counter-Candids. Each one of them gets to vote myself, and so do I. We all have equal votes. We made the most bold move to open the race, and also made a bold move with Pristina”.

We've held meetings yesterday for the initiative advice of 5 Pristina branches, area division, and we're in the process of February 20th, we start with the initiativeing Pristina branch assemblies and we work with our branch structure at the central level, but also with citizens, but with authorities expressing interest”.
