The prosecution releases two indictees in the “People's Office” case, for others it wants to be found guilty

And Avni Llumnica, Ragip Salova, Sadri Ramabaja, Behxhet Luzha, Haliim Halimi, Bajrush Konjusha, Murat Jashari and Rexhep Toplana are accused of criminal acts of preparing terrorist acts or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo.

The case prosecutor, Syla Hoxha, in his final address said judicial reviews have proved that the organisation “People's Eye” has had an operational plan to act in the murder of top state personalities, because according to them, had been traitors to the war and votes of Kosovo citizens.

“We are all convinced that the criminal organisation iustum has had an operational plan assigned people how they have to work and act is not inconsistent to the fact that the decision has been made to organise this operating plan with the personality of the past system of the present war commanders who have always, on the agenda, betrayed the interests of the war and the votes of the people of Kosovo”, Hoxha said.

According to him, there are elements leading to the idea that the accused have pushed and manipulated Murat Jasharin because of his psychic state. And that's why Hoxha asked the court to have the accused Jashar pronounce mandatory treatment measures in the psychiatrist.

While, for the other indictees, Hoxha asked the court for acts accused of being convicted and punished.

During this final hearing, the protection of the accused of the case “People's Office” demanded the release of the accused on the grounds that evidence is lacking.

The accused's lawyer, Sadri Ramabaja, Ramiz Krasniqi, said he fears this judicial process would be politically influenced, as he said was assisted by state leaders.

According to him, the court was not independent but influenced by the heads of state from the moment they accepted the state president's order, Hashim Thaci, that the session be held closed. He even said that Thaci's questions have been banned.

I'm afraid that the court will be influenced because in this court process they have helped state leaders and pointed them at the accused's claim to have committed this criminal offence. I think the court wasn't independent and it was influenced by the heads of the most influential state I don't know what it would look like when the head of state orders the public and the media to leave the trial, and the court without hesitation accepts this proposal of the head of state, so the head of state is asking questions like what the prosecutor didn't write to him, all the questions Hashim Thaci has been banned, so the court here had to intervene on this”, he said.

While for the prosecutor of the case “The People's Eye”, Syla Hoxha estimates he has remained loyal to those who told him to freeze this indictment.

In his final address to the accused, Sadri Ramabaja has declared that no circumstance has been part of the organisation's “People's Eye meetings”.

According to him, this organisation has been established by the Kosovo Information Service -- namely, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci -- and former Kosovo Prime Minister Kadri Wessel.

Ramabaja, until the testimony of the country's president, Hashim Thaci has seen it as slander, said this process is showing that the “state is against Vetevendosje”.

He said the silence of the Vetevendosje Movement has mostly hit the organisation's “People's Eye” and charges against their member.

“The nuclear body “The people's office” has probably created SHIK so Thaci- Veseli and their associates who in Kosovo feel more like the Pronto clan. The defendant's defense, Avni Llumnica, Ahmet Ahmet Ahmeti, said this indictment has been conducted on the supposed basis and that evidence is missing that his defence is involved in this organisation.

However, the accused Avni Llumnica himself refused to read the final word in written terms only handed it over to the court.

In his final address, the defendant's defence lawyer, Ragip Salova, Arsim Bilalli, until he sought his client's release said that during all these reviews the only thing that has proved to be that the organisation “The People's Eye” has been a fanatic organisation created by a man with mental illness, such as Murat Jashar.

While accused Ragip Salova said he is terrified of what he heard from the prosecutor today, he added that he has expected today to withdraw the indictment against him.

The final hearing for the trial process known as “The People's Eye” will continue on Friday (day) at 1:30 p.m., at which they are expected to give their final word to the accused, Behxhet Luzha, Halim Halim, Bayrush Konjusha, Murat Jashari and Rexhep Toplana.

Today's final session of this case was held without media presence, as the head of the court, Naim Krasniqi Jasanica, requested that the media, specifically, clear the hall because it was not obtained permission for recording.

In the case of “The People's Eye”, Avni Llumnica, Ragip Salova, Sadri Ramabaja, Behxhet Luzha, Halim Halimi, Bajrush Konjusha, Murat Jashar and Rexhep Toplana are accused of criminal acts of preparing terrorist acts or criminal acts against the constitutional order and security of the Republic of Kosovo.

According to the indictment, the accused were said to have planned attacks and murders on senior state personalities and former workers of the 1980s-1991, calling them traitors to the country.
