Kosovo and Serbia have signed agreements to establish their first airline, after 21 years, and surprisingly there is no traitor in this story.

It seems that behind this surprising act, the United States stands, which views the airline's deployment as a step forward in reducing tensions between the two countries.

The airline was hailed by President Hashim Thaci, who apparently was on the front line to sign this agreement and to appear in the eyes of Albanians, easier to sign than the Kurti-Mustafa agreement.

Outgoing Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has also welcomed the deployment of the airline with Belgrade, even though it cannot fly itself. Haradinaj has not declared any traitors in this story and this is not a bit in a country where he has become famous by listening to tables and inventing stories to declare traitors to the nation.

It has not rejected the deployment of this airline yet, nor has Albin Kurti, who has promised reciprocity with Serbia. Maybe as a condition there might be the fact that the plane makes the round-up day Belgrade-Pristina-Belgrade.

Isa Mustafaj, as it is known, takes matters slowly and can introduce the LDK leadership on the next day as an event and make a decision or greet it, right?

President Trump's envoy for Kosovo and other international authorities, dealing with the region, have hailed it as a step promoting free movement and have emphasised the role of the US and German in this story.

So Kosovo politicians are not against the platform points of “Müniskengenit”, where the free movement of people and capitals is one of the four main columns.

They are not opposed to the direct trip to Belgrade, they have no problem with the 100 per cent tax, they have no problem that Vucic has offended Recak's victims, or other nonsense they invented a month ago. And they do well, that in fact the right path is to reduce tensions and communication in the Balkan space.

They showed that they do not want to communicate with Serbia, or travel towards it without obstacles. What is easily understood by the non-refusting airline with Serbia, even the enthusiasm for it, shows that they do not mind the concept of “Minifengen”, or free movement, but the fact that they do so themselves with Belgrade, and not with Tirana.

The same thing about Minisengen was a month ago and the U.S. and Germany. Even the same characters that are flying to Belgrade. I don't know why in that hysteria they thought they were victims of Tirana, but now the US's favorite to get to Belgrade faster.

When they do themselves, they feel won, when it makes Tirana feel betrayed. It's a sign of independence, and that's to be respected.

But at least none of Tirana is telling traitors, even though we now have no Pristina- Tirana airlines. We're not complaining about being overlooked for Belgrade's sake.
