The MP of the Vetevendosje Movement Parliamentary Group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, considers there is a deadlock in the process of reaching agreement between LDK and LVV. According to her, at this stage, both parties are far from forming the coalition.
As we have seen, there is no progress at the moment in LVV . . LDK talks. The process has stalled and parties have expressed their positions, which at the moment seem to have difficulty approaching”, Mimoza Kusari-Lila has stated in a brief interview for Periscope.
According to Kusari, the agreement on co-governance cannot be reached through remote statements, Facebook posts, but by sitting at the negotiating table to express their positions on both sides, even reflection on possible mistakes in the process.
“The solution cannot be reached with remote statements and neither through discussion in television studio or with Facebook status. The solution to the created stalemate is reached at the negotiating table with the creation of the mutual trust bridge and the clarification of the position of the two sides for the steps so far, even if there are reflections of possible mistakes in progress in the negotiation process”, Kusari-Lila has said.
She has expressed satisfaction with the already co-operation with Vetevendosje Movement, saying that Albin Kurti's party has consistently informed her of the conduct of the negotiations process with the LDK, while she has said she has also given her opinion on the issue.
“I am invited to all formal meetings of the LVV Parliamentary Group, where the progress of negotiations on forming government has been discussed. Also, I present my opinion or suggestion about the steps ahead. Co-operation so far is at the level of expectations within the Parliamentary Group”, Kusari-Lila has said.
The Kosovo Parliament's MP refuses to trust the public statements of LDK officials, who have hinted that if they fail to reach agreement with LVV, the LDK will look for other options to co-government. Kusari-Lila believes the decision on such a thing is made only at high party levels.
There are other statements by LDK officials who rule out co-operation with other parties besides LVV, so I would not have stopped in separate statements but in the official LDK position taken at the official forums”, Kusari-Lila said.
She has also talked about the Pristina-Belgrade airline agreement. It says that the US's direct involvement in the negotiations process with Serbia has been sought for some time, and that the commitment of Richard Green, US President Donald Trump's special representative to this process, is to be welcomed.
She has said it should be clarified whether flights from only one airline, or for all flights destined for Kosovo, will be developed at the opening of the airline between Kosovo and Serbia.
It calls it a major achievement for Kosovo citizens, if mutual exploitation of airspace is functional overall.
Kosovo's leaders have consistently requested US involvement in the negotiating process with Serbia. As long as we couldn't get involved, we have the special representative of the President of the United States in this process. I think it's important to clarify the opening of airspace between the two countries, is it just for a plane, or for all flights that the destination has in Kosovo. If mutual exploitation of airspace is charged overall, then we can say that we speak of a major achievement for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and all travelers who travel to Pristina and outside Pristina”, Kusari-Lila has been expressed.
We remember that Alternative Speaker Mimoza Kusari-Lila had joined the Vetevendosje Movement list in early parliamentary elections that were held in Kosovo on 6 October.
It has secured 22 thousand and 131 votes, thus becoming part of Kosovo's VlW Parliament legislation./Periscopi/
