ORL's <x0meduries, in collaboration with those of the Clinic of Anesthesiology and Reanimation and the Clinical Clinic, managed to save the 14-month-old infant after the intervention.
She had devoured peanuts, which were left in her throat. In view of the child's condition, the parents were initially directed to the Clinic of Pediatrics, while the child was growing in breathing problems, with the recommendation of the pediatric doctor, the child is directed to the ORL Clinic.
After consulting among doctors of the three clinics, it is consistent that the child is made trakio broncoscope (respiratory access)”, the communique says.
After ORL's additional team was invited to assist in carrying out this procedure, four pieces of peanut are removed and respiratory routes free.
For all these procedures, family consent had been taken.
This procedure was carried out with the new bronze device, which the ORL Clinic recently supplied.
