Labinot Tahiri had become extremely important in the past government by conditioning majority votes on his request for minister from Ferizaj. He managed to do so only a few months after the Haradinaj II Government vote following the scandal with the deportation of Turkish citizens accused of terrorism in Turkey, resulting in the dismissal of former Interior Affairs Minister.
Doctor Ekrem Mustafa of Ferizaj managed to become minister of Internal Affairs. The media often referred to him as “Minister of Laby” and the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the same label, Periscopi follows.
But it seems Tahiri will not remain disappointed even in Kurti Government because a guy from Ferizaj will sit in one of her most important chairs.
