In the voting process, 621 lawmakers have voted in favour of Britain's departure from the EU in contrast to 49 who have voted against and another 13 have abstained.
Besides voting, a traditional Scottish song has been heard to bid last farewell to Britain as an EU member.
The results of the 2016 referendum showed that 52 percent of Britons favour leaving the EU.
After 31 January, the Brex process will have a transition period by the end of the year.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has denied that there will be delays of this transition period.
