The news has revealed to Culture Minister Elva Margariti, who says that, “for more services, for more maintenance, for more dignity and a demand of institutions themselves, we review the ticket price to visit national museums and archaeological parks. Not to forget certain festival days or the last Sunday of every month, which is free. In 2020, some of the income from tickets will go towards healing the wounds of” earthquake.
As far as new tariffs are concerned with museums and cultural heritage sites benefit free tickets, children up to 12 years old, veterans, disabled, former persecutors, guidas and invalids. Also benefiting are subjects that develop activities within park space or monument.
While the visit is free every last Sunday of every month at all sites and museums. As well as national and international days dedicated to cultural heritage, Independence Day and Freedom Day.
It also benefits student reductions in size of 70%, price prices and quality services for tour operators, favourable award for visits to Butrint in groups of over 50, 12-18 age groups and pensioners. /Atsh
