Cory Booker resigns from race for US president

The Senator from New Jersey has failed to qualify for the upcoming debate among the Democrats to be held in Ayana on Tuesday.

Booker is considered a growing star in his party, but has failed to gain sufficient support.

Now there are 12 Democrats competing to win the president's position at the White House.
