Beware of false news: These are the 7 giant concessions the LDK made to the VV

News spread yesterday that some LDK members had flatly opposed the coalition with Vetevendosje. The LDK came out with communiqués, exposing these false news. In fact, the LDK's stance on the coalition with Vetevendosje is quite clear and made public by the chairman of this party, Mr. Isa Mustafa.
The LDK has openly expressed itself to the coalition with Vetevendosje, simply demanding a more fair interpretation of the election result by the Vetevendosje Movement.
Mustafa has insisted on several occasions that Vetevendosje should not behave as a party that has won over 50 per cent of the vote. Vetevendosje has actually won 26,27 per cent [221 thousand 1 votes], while LDK has won 24.54 per cent [206 thousand 516 votes], Periscope follows.

This political party has called for this election result to be respected and on its part the division of responsibilities among parties in the new government.
Mustafa's LDK is currently in a very difficult position because of pressing moves by Vetevendosje. However, even at this point its willingness to form government cannot be questioned.
Below, you have a list of concessions that the LDK made over the past few months just for such a coalition to be achieved as soon as possible.
1. Program Harmony In six meetings held by the LDK processing group with Vetevendosje's processing group, there had been no major problem in harmonising the programme despite major programming differences in many points. In fact, on one occasion Glauk Konjufca, now appointed mayor, had even spoken very good words for Mr. Lutfi Haziri calling it a very constructive “”. At this point, self - determination should also be mentioned.
2. Rugova tomb It was reported that many LDK leaders had demanded that the work of President Rugova and the leader of this party be respected for sixteen years by Vetevendosje. They had demanded that Kurt go to Rugova's tomb to pay tribute to his contribution. That did not happen, yet the LDK moved forward. We remember that this party had managed to persuade Hashim Thaci in 2008 to do so in the P coalition. DK-LDK, even though they had more than 10 percent less.

3. Main ministries As may have been noted by the appointment of ministers, three of the four main ministries in the new government will meet the Vetevendosje Movement, it is about the finance ministry [Besnik Bislimi, the Ministry of Justice [Albulena Hadziu] and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs [Blerim Reka]. The LDK received only the fourth most important Ministry of Internal Affairs under the coalition agreement, yet even at this point it was rejected. Kurti had demanded that the LDK also give up this minister if he wanted the president elected by their party in April 2021.

4. Discreet Public Declarations Contrary to Vetevendosje, the LDK has never demonised Mr. Kurti through public statements. This party has even declared it would vote on the latter's government even if no coalition agreement was reached and testified to this by voting Mr. Conjufca to head of the Parliament.
5. Prime Minister The most important position in the country is that of the prime minister. The LDK, although only 1.6 per cent of the vote less than the VV from the October 6th election, was ready to immediately give this position to Vetevendosje. However, Vetevendosje misinterpreting the election result stated that Kurti had been elected from “people”. In fact, in relation to the 2017 elections, Vetevendosje has lost four deputies [32 earlier, while 28 now] while the LDK has managed to win three more deputies [from 25 to 28]. What political subject represents the most change? A Cynic would ask.
6. President Do you know why the LDK does not have the name for president of Kosovo? Because the LDK functions institutionally and such a decision should be taken by the political subject after a set of specific procedures. It is no secret that this name is exactly Isa Mustafa, but Mustafa would have violated his party if he were to disproportionate himself arbitraryly. Vetevendosje, in which extraordinary power has Albin Kurti, has attacked the LDK at this point as well.
7. Speaker of the Parliament Vetevendosje has already chosen its Speaker of the Parliament, and he is Glauk Konjufca. This position, even under the preliminary agreement, was due to meet LDK, but such a position was openly ignored by the political subject headed by Kurti. During yesterday, both Kurti and Albulen Haxhiu flatly denied the possibility of Konjufca resigning and the position of LDK. “I cannot return before December 24th,” Kurti said after meeting with President Thaci. We have not named Konjufa as the mayor so that we can say surrender,”
All of this tells us that Vetevendosje is not a movement because it doesn't move. In fact, the LDK has moved from its positions constantly, adapting to Mr. Kurt.
Meanwhile, this is the current agreement offered by Vetevendosje, where the LDK is treated as if it were a subject that won the Initiative's votes, which barely managed to pass the threshold.
VV: Prime Minister, Chief Parliamentary, 3 of the 4 most important ministries, two other ministries, the second deputy prime minister.
LDK: 1 out of 4 most important ministries, 4 other ministries, Mr. Prime Minister
