Agim Bahtiri: I'm a fish in a horoscope, a world's money that corrupts me.

Bahtiri has announced that citizens' expectations during these six years of leadership with the Mitrovica municipality have reached 95 per cent.

According to him, Mitrovica from a city with many challenges and problems at the time of his coming to power has now become the quietest city in the country.

He argued that the second mandate was won without promise, because citizens have praised his work since the first term.

I think my work expectations weren't 100 percent, but somewhere 95 percent... My biggest challenge was in 2013 to normalize the situation. You know that the city of Mitrovica has been, is and remains a specific city, which has not only been treated in Mitrovica and Pristina, but also in Brussels and Washington ...E I have found a Mitrovica with smuggling and corruption, with a serious economic situation, with 150,000 people displaced from the north, with numerous problems and troubles, and now the situation is among the quietest cities in Kosovo... In 2013, I was a stranger to the citizens of Mitrovica because I have been out of the country for 25 years. I got about 12 grand and a few votes, but in 2017, I didn't promise anything, because I didn't need it, because citizens realized I was a working man, close to citizens... and I was voted in by 17 thousand citizens, without promises, ”, on Monday Bahtiri.

He explained that at first, when he came to the mayor's post, he was unaware that the laws could limit him, which has prevented him from fulfilling his employment promises.

Bahtiri says that by the power of the post, he has created many friends while denying to have enemies because, as he put it, he has not come to benefit and harm anyone but to help with his soul and heart.

As far as capital projects are concerned, he said he has managed to implement about 100 projects so far, whose value totals over 250m euros.

The first <x0 years I thought differently, because at the time I thought I had my hands free to act, and I didn't know that the laws limited... are close to 100 capital projects that have been realised in these six years of my leadership, are important projects, such as the accumulated lake that has cost 4 million and 800 thousand euros, the waste factory that has now been completed at 3.5 million euros, the Sitnica River that will be fully infrastructureed... I think all these projects that have happened and will happen for which we have signed the memorandums that will end up in their 2021 million euros, down to about 250 million euros, he said.

While acknowledging that much has been accomplished for northern Albanians in terms of security and free movement, but not in a material way.

He says the government has not given a cent to the displaced from north to south and that these people are extremely bad.

That Trepca case called it emergency that should be resolved as soon as possible. Speaking of his childhood, then his family relationship, he says that he had a very happy childhood, thanking his father for being rich. I've never been hired, nor paid, so for this question I can't explain because I've never tried”, explained Bahtiri.

He voiced confidence that the government will be formed and will not be transferred to the elections, while as its greatest achievement, he considers the fact that it has managed to turn Mitrovica from a city with many problems and tensions to the quietest country in Kosovo.

There is no ambition for prime minister, because he says he must return to the family, but does not specify whether he will run for a president's mandate as well. Of all Albanian politicians, it values Albin Kurti, comparing it to Hasan Pristina.

I haven't given up yet, nor do I intend to give up. The government is very hoping that this will happen, but it also needs a delay to accomplish this. Pushing from devout people from both parties to make a little more of a coalition move... Mitrovica is like night to day reporting how it was and how it is today. Mitrovica today is the quietest city in all of Kosovo, this is my biggest achievement... no, I've never thought of prime minister, because my whole family is out of the country and I think one day I'm going back to my family... I think time does its own, I'm going to leave Mitrovica, just as I've wanted, and I have absolutely no ambition for anything else... we'll see how the projects are going. I don't want a good job that's starting to stay half. Let's look at major projects, as well as as on the way, will we add «to complete during the current mandate. And there's until then, to think if I have to lead these processes... if there's someone who takes the place of Hasan Pristina, that's Albin Kurti”, Bahtiri said.

Mitrovica's chairman said that leisure time has very little, yet such cases use them to be with friends, but also for sporting activities. He says he does not know exactly how much he is rich, but he mentions an estimated 100m euros.

I have very little free time... but when I have free time I want to be with friends, friends and sports. I don't know, I can say one figure that might not be correct, because the companies I have in Holland, but other companies that I have shares in, should each of them be counted to an end to what capital is. He admits that he lacks the time to dedicate to his mother, whom he calls a symbol of his life, as early as 2020, Mitrovica sees him with many new investments.
