45 convicted minors found in 2020 at the Lipjan Correcting Centre

114 minors have been involved in criminal acts this year, while 45 is the number of minor persons currently found in the institution.

However, these minors in this center are also offered professional training for which certificates are issued.

In addition to schooling in this center, minors are able to perform professional training.

“Certificates and school diplomas for minors who suffer criminal sentences are given regularly as in public schools, not being found to be taken from prison, for not hurting careers that can be developed further”.

The Director of the Boarding Centre in Lipjan, Isuf Iberdemaj, has told of Indexline that in the suffering of the punishment at this centre there are 45 minors, for various criminal acts.

Among them is the male gender, with 42 of them suffering punishment, and the number of females is three women who are suffering criminal punishment, writes Indexline.

In contrast, according to Iberdemaj, a total of 93 inmates actually occurred, as the category of adult female prisoners and females enters.

Only during the year of 2013 were 10 people sentenced to the sentence, depending on what they did, writes Indexline.

The biggest punishment given this year at this centre is less than 25 years.

“25 years has been condemned to a woman's decision is of cut form”, said the Director of the Correcting Centre in Lipjan, Isuf Iberdemaj.

Otherwise, the sentences for minors in the Republic of Kosovo are regulated under the Penal Law to Mitur in Kosovo.
