Acting Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Dijana Zivic reacts to Deputy Finance Minister Bojan Stojanovic's statement, regarding <x0ovic, the programme for Integration Socio Economics of Small Farms in the municipality”, in which the declaration had a lot of inaccuracy and falsehood, thus misinterpreting the vast public and creating confusion in farmers who expect this support. In his statement, during the day, Deputy Finance Minister Stojanovic had declared that the MBPHR has announced a programme for supporting farmers, which, according to him, was done in the absence of the budget for the programme.
With the aim of fair information of citizens and opinion, MBPZR's acting minister, Dijana Zivic, explains that “Program for the Socio Economic Integration of Small Farms in Community”, for which the call for application has been opened on September 18th, has been drafted based on the Agriculture and Development Law of 03-098, as well as the completion of the Agriculture and Development Law 04/ L-090 and according to that has been planned in this year's budget. In drafting this programme, she reports that the MBPZR has been working six months continuously so that, in addition to other programmes, they can provide a support programme for even small farmers, so they can develop and expand their agricultural activities.
Among other things, the minister further explains that from the beginning of its mandate until now, it remains constantly devoted to supporting farmers, based on the programme for agriculture and rural development, which is designed based on laws and administrative guidelines in power, which the budget is much planned earlier. It also explains that the Ministry's budget is a public document that all interested parties can see.
Otherwise, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development on September 18th 2019 has opened the call for application to “Program for Integration Socio Economics of Small Farms in Community”, with a budget of 3m euros.
