55 allegations of gay is a burly tale of policies about LGBTI in the Balkans and Europe. Local Balkan politicians try to manipulate and deceive EU officials, humanitarian mercenaries of international NGOs often take advantage of the homophobic terrain to raise funds and implement their social and educational projects [ sort of workers and seminars for the use of condoms], while EU officials, using their superior financial and political position, try to subdue them all.
On this Trinity [Manipulation. Abuse. Submission, the question posed by the show is: Is a sexual release [sexual bookification] possible in the Balkans? Or, can the Balkans launch a Balkan Spring of the Sexual Revolution?
In the show, a gay couple apply for their enthronement in a conservative and deeply homophobic provincial city. The demand is made at the time when the Italian association Don Bosco has started building a condom manufacturing factory in the city -- a project that has been financially supported by the European Union and aimed at reducing unemployment in the city where unemployment amounts to 90%. Intellectuals, artists, politicians, religious representatives and professional bombers engage in this marriage not to happen, despite the country's legalisation of couples of the same gender, which the prime minister has signed under EU guidelines.
55 allegations of gay are being carried out by a cast of five wonderful Kosovo actors and by a team of local theatre artists from Germany, Kosovo, France and Serbia.
