“Today in the quality of the justice minister I've asked the Polish authorities for temporary arrest in order to extradite to the Republic of Kosovo of a Kosovo citizen who is wanted by our judicial organs because of the criminal act: The use of official position or authority is expected to be extradited after the completion of procedures in the state of Poland”, he said.
He has now said that this is a concrete example of commitment as the minister of justice in fighting corruption and criminal acts linked to misuse of the official position.
“I say responsibly that with changes made in the field of justice, no one will be able to escape face justice, regardless of political or official position, and that no one will be able to account for wealth acquired by criminal work”, he added.
Tahiri further has said this is expected to be the first extradition ever carried out with the Republic of Poland.
