In honour of former president of the Republic of France, Jacques Chirac, the French Embassy in Pristina will open the book of condolences.

All citizens and personalities can write in the book of condolences from October 2 to 9:30 until 12 p.m.

Otherwise, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci will attend the Jacques Chirac funeral ceremony.

Some 30 statesmen from all over the world will attend this funeral ceremony.

Thaci had praised former President Chirac as one of the major figures in world policy that came to the aid of Kosovo in the most difficult days, especially at the Ramboullet Conference and support for shelling the Serb police and military targets in 1999.

Jacques Chirac passed away on Thursday. He was born on November 29, 1932. He was president of the Republic of France for 12 years.

We remember Chirack was president of France in 1999 who supported NATO's intervention to stop the Serbian genocide in Kosovo.
