Pacolli in Mitrovica: With AKR in power, economic growth will be 8 per cent

The New Kosovo coalition (AKR) has held its next meeting in the town of Mitrovica to expand its governing programme for the next four years.

Present were AKR leader Behgjet Pacolli and DP's Ferid Agani, but not the candidate for prime minister from this coalition, Fatmir Limaj.

AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli has assured the coalition that it will not be betrayed as it did in Agim Bahtiri's case.

Until the last moments I'm in charge of this task, there will be no surprises and no harm will come from this coalition. We are here in Mitrovica, in the heart of Kosovo. When I say that, I'm motivated because it's the powerful heart of Kosovo. But this heart that was a promoter of all, is starting to kick slower. I want to see this heart beat at normal pace. Trepca is in Mitrovica, it's faculty, it's also connected to the high levels that dominate here, it's tired of Kosovo's assets. When I tell you this, I know I've lived then I say it already. What injustice this city has become. It's not just the separation of this city, but there's more, but I say it's come from the leadership of ignorant people, the unconventional people.

When discussing investments in this city, Pacolli mentioned Trepca. He said Trepca's law is not good, since according to him it does not help this company.

While promising that with AKR in Government economic growth will amount to 8 per cent.

I'm not like the other politicians who just come here once for a vote and then don't come. Kosovo has faced many challenges and that 20 years from here nobody has done anything about this country. During this experience I've been through many challenges. I prepared a plan for Trepca's workers, you know, all these workers, but what happened, that plan that was looked after with interest was never taken to base. And I say that I still have this plan of this Trepca object functioning and working as hard as possible. Trepca law is bad because it holds Trepca on hold. In the next two years Trepca will function best. Economic growth with AKR will be 8 percent. Under this increase it will not help its citizens” Pacolli said.

Pacolli also spoke of the departure and statements of Agim Bahtiri, where he has declared he will destroy AKR in Mitrovica.

Why would Agim Bahtiri say he'll destroy AKR? What's wrong with AKR Agim Bahtiri. I'm a man who, if he can't do well, at least it doesn't do him”, Pacolli said.

E Nysret Qureli Coordinator of the AKR branch in Mitrovica, has said he is proud to say no to the Agim Bahtiri.

I feel proud to feel right in front of you. Here we are abolishing the AKR power where Pacolli's support has felt side by side of Mitrovica. There are two important moments in my life that I have felt proud. The first when I said yes to my wife and the second when I said no to Agim Bahtiri to join him”, Qubrley said.

Prior to the citizens also became the presentation of candidates for deputies from Mitrovica.
