Dramatic: Prime Minister Boris Johnson's brother opposes and leaves his government

Boris Johnson's brother, Jo Johnson, has dramatically left the government and parliament to protest his leadership.

Jo Johnson, business minister, said it was impossible to reconcile “family trust and national interest”, adding: “is an inex2 and time for others to take over my roles as deputy and minister”.

Joseph Edmund Johnson is English Prime Minister Boris's younger brother, and like him he is part of the Conservative Party, Periscopi translates.
