Cameron Shala: Serbian Communists association must be like other associations

Our constitution does not allow this. It should be like other associations, but we have to resolve the issue of representation because it cannot be one-ethnic”, Shala has said, Kosova Klan reports.

There is no an international agreement for AKS. It is the first agreement of the 2013 principles that was adopted in 2013. The 2015 agreement is not legal. The issue is now that in the Constitutional Court's decision, Kosovo's Assembly has ratified that agreement, which is the constitutional mechanism. It's not unconstitutional. The principle document has had constitutional powers”.

“Source is 2013. The problem is that 23 cases that have been disputed by the Constitutional Court are discussed, but not the fundamental issue. It's the constitutional mechanism and the Constitutional Court has said, we have nothing to do with the principle document, that's worth it. The document that counts is the international agreement that was ratified in 2013”.

Shala has said in the Electoral Zone that the issue of dialogue with Serbia is the issue the Government must deal with.

It's a matter of government, I'm talking about the process. It has been called the process of normalising relations, to have access to certain areas, but without saying that it would pass on to political issues”.

Kosovo is a state, and for this status, we need to talk to another state. There are places we don't have any problems but they still don't know us. Our issue with Serbia is another Serbian intervention in Kosovo's internal affairs”.
