Political parties are on the verge of finalising lists with candidates for MPs for the October 6th snap elections.
Periscopi learns that on the list of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Migen Kelmendi, Besa Ismaili and Albanian Demaci will also be on the list.
We remember that all three have joined the PDK in recent days.
To Albanian Demechin, Head PDK's, Kadri Wessel wrote:
“Adem Demach was never defeated. He was the greatest inspirer for us, generation after generation, on the ideal of freedom and the way of deliverance. The union of Albanians was ideally vital that the boy was named Albanian. Albanian Demaci, son of the symbol of our national resistance, is from today part of the Democratic Party of Kosovo. We are proud to live in the age of Adam Demach. We are proud that Albanian Demaci, highly respected professional and personality, joined us”
Besa Ismaili:
Through a post on his Facebook page, Wessel has highly appreciated Ismaili's work and personality.
He said Ismaili would work together with the PDK team in fighting corruption and building a better future for all citizens.
I welcomed them today to the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Besa Ismaili, professor of the Faculty of Islamic Studies. Many hopeful news that she too joined my fight against corruption and nepotism to create opportunities for new generations. Lady Ismaili is a popular voice in Kosovo society and Kosovo academic life, being engaged for more than two decades in promoting the role of women and religious freedoms in society and in caring for marginalised society groups. It has made a valuable contribution to building peace and promoting intercultural and inter-religious dialogue and is therefore the laureate of many international prices”, Wessel said.
I am happy that she has found herself at the Democratic Party of Kosovo, which is a conservative centre-right party that supports the traditional values of our society and has the proper vision for the future of our country. We will work together, and we will emerge to build a Kosovo developed”, Vessel wrote.
From recent accession to PDK, there is also Migen Kelmendi, which the PDK praised as the Pristina icon
“All roads lead to PDK. ?
Migen Kelmendi has left his mark on Kosovo's history, with art, with publicists, with intellectual commitment to war and peace. His tracks will now be seen in building the future of our country.
The PDK is honoured that its new team from today has joined one of Pristina's icons, one of its best boys. Welcome, Migen. ”
