Within this visit, delegation “Stiff Reed” from Iowa, along with Kosovo Security Force officers and deputy officers, have visited several historic and important sites in the Republic of Kosovo, as well as conducted various academic and recreative activities.
According to the report, American officers first visited the “Adem Jashari” barracks in Pristina, as well as the Centre for University Studies, Force Police, the Medicine Company, the Janice Battalion and the Logics Bureau. Visitors have been notified of their entity capacities, activities and engagement, existing KSF capacities and transition phase planning.
Next, American officers have visited several historic sites such as the ancient city of Dodona, the Gracanica Monastery, Krusha the Great, Gazimestan. Also visiting the town of Pristina, Prizren and Gjakova, as well as some sites of historical and cultural importance.

Meanwhile, at the “University, Waktin Hoti” in Prizren on Thursday, a worker from the US National Guard and the Kosovo Security Force carried out.
During the workshop, soldiers visited Major General Enver Cicci, commander of the KSF and Brigadier General Randy E. Greenwood Chief of Staff, National Air Guard of the United States.
The purpose of the workshop was to simulate a strategic planning session for peace operations from the July 1999 perspective in Kosovo. In the programme, a group of 100 participants from KSF and Ioga National Guard first met in a plenary session for an initial rowing and then distributed into 10 groups to develop planning on specific issues facing peacekeepers in the first 120 days from the restoration of essential services, refugee returns, human rights, war crimes, humanitarian aid, civil administration, transitional justice and more. Then each group informs all 100 participants.
