The opposition ready for pre-election coalitions, PDK says no fear

Arben Gashi, from the Democratic League of Kosovo, said that in principle the position of the LDK is for every party to go alone in the elections, but if parliamentary parties link the pre-election coalition, then they will be interested in the opposition coalition, meaning Vetevendosje.

However, Gashi said the position on the issue should be given to the LDK chairman.

“In principle, the Democratic League of Kosovo is interested is that all parliamentary parties go to the polls alone. And that's the first principle, we operate parliamentary parties. Those parties that are in Kosovo's parliament go on their own to the elections and see what the election outcome is, on the basis of that we have legitimacy and know that we know the relative force of everyone, so let's know how much support each party has... For that reason we prefer to go apart into elections by parliamentary parties. If we have coalitions from parliamentary parties, so if the AAK or the PDK or others decide to go together, we normally have our strategic orientation, we prefer the opposition coalition, I said the answer is given by the LDK chairman, but I think it's meaning”, Gashi said.

The deputy from Vetevendosje, Albulen Haxhiu, was also hired.

During the debate on the “theme, what choice do the elections offer?”, he said the clearer mirror than political subjects have the support of citizens is to compete alone.

In the event of the pre-election coalition, Haxhiu has indicated who will be the owner of the list.

“The real change in Kosovo comes when these proper names or discussions on the posts are removed from our discussion. The Self-Determination Movement will not decide that the posts become part of any agreement, because I think we've seen this fight. I think for this example it was past governance, where without the support of Kosovo citizens, a small subject, takes the lead in governance... If we enter as the only subject, we see which candidate, or which subject the citizens of Kosovo are supporting. The second to enter the pre-election coalition without candidates for prime minister -- the one who gets the most votes from candidates -- does Albini, one from the LDK, let him be candidates for prime minister”, Haxhiu said.

Among other things, Haxhiu said Haradinaj's resignation has not come because of the invitation he has accepted by the Special Court.

She said Vetevendosje has rejected August 22nd for distribution of the Assembly, as according to her, parties opposed to these elections can even benefit during this time to make calculations.

And, Blerta Deliu-Codra of the Democratic Party of Kosovo said this party has been declared not for the government's forgetting, but for holding elections.

However, she said she has expected correctness from Haradinaj, as a coalition partner.

He talked even if The PDK is afraid of the LDK-Vetevendosje coalition.

“They're mentioned here as strange coalitions, just by opposition colleagues, so I said that we've never been declared red lines for us, just that. Because it has happened in the past, and it will happen now. And it's going to happen right now. They're absolutely unnatural in program points, even in key positions, on national issues that opposition subjects have, and we already know everyone. We absolutely do not fear any political subject. And we'll race as a political subject, which in the polls despite what they said today turns out very well... We'll see how things behave, because we're very early until the final date of”, Deliu-Codra said.

Deliu-Kodra left without even commenting on the meeting between LDK chairman Isa Mustafa with VV's Albin Kurti.

He called such a coalition strange until, according to her, long ago these two parties had a fierce debate, and today they shake hands drinking coffee.

In this debate, Ahmet Isufi from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has not ruled out the possibility even of a coalition with the Democratic Party of Kosovo, however, said they have no red lines, because on the contrary such statements as he said, time exposes them.

He had good words for The PSD, thus implying, possible coalitions even with this political party.

We said from the beginning, we don't have red lines, because time exposes us. Because coalitions are occurring even in Kosovo. I found out that we're using some of the parties, with some of us at a distance, which is understandable, but the red line we don't have, and we're going to stick to this principle because we don't want to expose ourselves, the odds are small, but we don't mean ever, that it's always in politics that it's always proven to be”, Isufi said.

Ahmet Isufi, from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, said it is not right to say that we will compete in elections alone, and meet every day for possible coalitions.

He said special invitation to Ramush Haradinaj has also been a surprise to himself, which he said should not be left to his coalition partners who have not announced the resignation.
