On August 22nd of this year, it is pre-empted to hold the extraordinary Assembly distribution hearing, with all bills that have not been voted out will be returned to zero point.
With the distribution of the Parliamentary Commissions, they will not complete all the jobs they have had during this legislature, and they will not be able to release even reports of their work.
The deputy head of the Parliament from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Xhavit Haliti, has blamed the opposition for failing to adopt many laws during this legislature.
He has said the laws are prepared for the country's interest, but after they have not been adopted in this legislature, they will be adopted in that future.
The responsibility in failing to adopt laws is the opposition, of the leaders of the opposition parliamentary groups respectively, because they have legal obligations, until they have the mandate, to vote on laws or not vote on them. Laws have been prepared to be applied for the interests of the country, not for the interests of the Government or any party. This is the way they chose it. I believe the next legislature, if the Parliament is distributed, will approve them”, he has said of “Zerin”.
While Artan Murati, from the Kosovo Democratic Institute who monitors the work of the Kosovo Parliament, has told the newspaper “Zeri” that the functioning of the Assembly is being damaged.
He has said that with the new legislature all disapproved laws would be converted to zero, so even the Parliamentary Investigative Commission regarding the situation in PTK and “Vala” could not come up with a report.
