In an interview for “BO CAS”, ex-porter has discovered some details of his friendship with notorious Pablo Escobar:
I would visit Escobar in jail today, tomorrow and always. I wasn't his best friend, but the little friendship I had with him made everybody else want to become my”.

At that moment I thought a friend couldn't handle it like that.
I knew he was lonely in prison. I couldn't give up”, Higuita added, who himself spent nine months in prison in 1993 because she was accused of being an mediator in the release of Escobar's daughter, who was thought to have been kidnapped by Escobar himself.
I was told to hand over Escobar and let me go. Otherwise, I'd do seven years.
