Kukes County Prefect Zenel Kucana told ATSH that “since 00:01 after 11:00 p.m. have been processed at the entrance of the Republic of Albania 19,642 citizens with 3,173 instruments”.
According to the mayor, at the entrance of Morin's point, 6 sports and accelerated procedures are being worked.
The Kucana Prefect makes it known that road police have strengthened measures to avoid trouble during the travelers' circulation.
Morin's border point is a very important point, since it processes the largest number of visitors over the year. Citizens from Kosovo continue to lead with the largest influx of visitors entering Albania. According to INSTAT for the first 7 months of this year, more than 1 million citizens from Kosovo, with an increase of nearly 14%, entered Albania. Tourists from Kosovo accounted for 34% of the country's total entry.
