Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's resignation after receiving an invitation to be questioned at The Hague has triggered a wave of reactions to social networks as rarely ever. More than 90 percent of any social media response in Albania goes to the former KLA commander. After Haradinaj said he would not appear in The Hague in the prime minister's quality, Albanians believe in his innocence and the purity of the KLA war.

However, you cannot help but notice those thousands of Albanians, who have commented to Haradinaj's FBDP, despair about the situation in Albania. There are at least five reasons why Albanian commentators from Albania, Haradinaj, seem much different than Albanian counterpart Edi Rama. These thoughts have come up since they've seen Haradinaj confront Eddie Rama until this peak moment.

First, because from the beginning of his speech, Haradinaj says he believes in democracy. “governments and powers are inter-transmittable, we live in democracy”, he said. Despite hundreds of problems Kosovo has and its governance, they still do not have Albania's biggest problem: The lack of free and fair elections that have blocked democratic processes in the country.

Second, because Haradinaj says he believes in certain principles and values. The prime minister's and state's <x0nder must be preserved and I never humiliate”, he says. Meanwhile in Albania, morality has become a mess, especially for the executive leader.

Third, because most Albanians believe Ramush Haradinaj was the main voice opposing the project to exchange territories with Serbia. There are few who believe that resignation and interviewing at The Hague may be linked to this plot aimed at partitioning Kosovo. The position against the idea supported by Prime Minister Edi Rama has led Haradinaj to gain significant points in Albania, while at least making the nationalist role of the Albanian prime minister ridiculous.

The fourth, because Albanians value Haradinaj's respect for the institution of resignation. This is not the first time for Haradinaj, but many people would like to see Edi Rama for the first time as she applies this standard. Haradinaj has resigned and returned to politics, while Rama has blocked a vital process for democracy, that of free and normal elections, becoming the only politician in Albania who does not recognise the resignation.

Last, because Ramush Haradinaj does not evade justice, even when it comes from a court such as The Hague. While the Albanian prime minister, having collapsed politically and morally, only hopes to get caught in the fact that he has not been legally overthrown. So desperate is to see any legal signal against him that produces madness, such as that of the Durres Court for the mayor's mandate, only to show that no one drank into justice against him.

Ramush Haradinaj will have another battle with international justice. Some say it's much easier and he's going to turn into more powerful politics. But even if that does not happen, he has left behind an important legacy to be valued. The biggest meal is in Albania with a prime minister who has realised the problem lies with the one leaving behind.
